INFLUENCERS Sophie and Cinzia have been slated by followers for flogging expensive pjs and calling them ‘out of touch and ridiculous’.
The Girls Bathroom podcasters – Sophie Tuxford and Cinzia Baylis Zullo -have left fans fuming after selling pricey pyjamas costing a whopping £95.
The dynamic duo are founders of a lifestyle brand called called From Rooms which they started last year.
Branded as two of the ‘most relatable influencers in today’s digital landscape’ followers have complained about their unrealistic price tags.
The pair have just done a spring drop and fans aren’t happy with the hefty sums – including a dressing gown for £110, slippers for £45 and a candle for £65.
The entrepreneurs wrote: “The spring pantry collection is now available to shop!!”
The Sleepy Girl set of pyjamas – available in blue and yellow – were modelled by the twosome who appeared in a video with a Barbie movie-inspired clip.
The pastel-themed products on their site have previously been compared to those from Primark Home, with some questioning the sky-high prices.
One fan asked: “Very intrigued to see what fabric composition Sophie and Cinzia’s pyjamas are for £95,” alongside some wide-eyed emojis.
One user joked: “Hopefully not polyester.”
“I don’t think anyone is expecting Primark prices but £95 for a pair of pjs is ridiculous! I just personally don’t understand how anyone is justifying that amount on pjs regardless of the brand,” vented another.
They continued to rage: “This brand seems to ranged at very well off individuals or maybe their younger audience who work but live with parents. These price points are not aimed at the Average Joe paying bills and mortgages.”
Followers commented: “Went to buy something realised pjs were £95? What’s going on. I can’t get my head around pjs costing nearly a day’s work. Like, what the helly?”
“I’m sorry, who is spending £95 on pyjamas?” inquired a second.
“These look like they belong in Primark,” barked a third.
“I mean maybe I’m just not a pyjama gal. I just sleep in old basketball T-shirt. Who on this earth is paying £95 for PJs. Good lawwwwd,” agreed a fourth.
“That is so greedy of them,” accused another.
Speaking about fans’ previous outrage about their high prices, a follower penned: “They said on their email they listened to feedback but most of their feedback was about the prices being high and suggesting some smaller, low priced items such as accessories and they haven’t done this. It’s a bit disappointing.”
