CONTROVERSIAL TikTok star Tara Lynn has been accused of showing her true colours after she verbally attacked an A&E nurse on social media.
The drama was sparked when the OnlyFans content creator put out an odd request to borrow a £177 luxury halterneck top for New Year’s, explaining it was a “do or die” situation.
Tara, 22, told her five million fans that she “needed their help” after the £177 top was sold out online.
Ahead of the festivities, Tara shared a video on her @taraswrld TikTok page.
She said: “This is a really specific request, but if anyone who lives in the LA area has this halter top from For Love & Lemons in a size small or extra-small, can I please borrow it for New Year’s Eve?”
“I need it. This is do or die for me. I want to wear this shirt so bad, but it’s sold out everywhere. I looked everywhere. I scoured the internet,” she begged.
A nurse, who spends her days wading through actual emergencies, saw the post and kindly offered to help.
In fact, she didn’t just lend the top to the influencer in need; she offered it up for free.
But after New Year’s Eve, a furious Tara took to TikTok and called the nurse out for ‘ghosting’ her.
She has since deleted the video, but in it she called the nurse, known only as ‘A’, a “hater” and implied she’d deliberately messed Tara around.
“One of my haters did something f***** up to me today,” she told raged.
“She’s f***** me over real bad, she hasn’t answered me in like three hours.”
In the comment section, the nurse explained her side of the story and explained why she’d gone quiet after offering her the halterneck.
She wrote: “Hi everyone, it was me, I am so sorry. I am a nurse, and there are so many sicknesses going around, and it was so short-staffed.
I had to stay overtime, I just got off, and it’s 3am. I have apologised to Tara. There were many patients in the emergency room tonight,’ she added.
But Tara was having none of it and replied: “If you knew you were going to be working, you shouldn’t have offered OR you could have told me, respectfully gimme a break.”
Tara’s behaviour raised eyebrows on the app, with one writing: “This is Tara showing her true colours.
“We all knew she had this side to her, this is very sad to keep posting about it and going on about it.
But some of Tara’s legion of followers turned on A, who was bullied into removing comments and pictures of herself online.
“I’m not showing my face because I have been harassed and bullied all day,” she said.
“I was going to give her the shirt, but after the video and without her even letting me explain myself, I don’t support her anymore. I’m not an influencer and barely use TikTok. Be kind to people,” she added.
The argument resulted in Tara losing more than 100,000 followers.
Tara has borrowed clothes from her fans before.
Ahead of a trip to Coachella, a follower sent her a tube top – a gesture she said was “really kind.”
The Sun has contacted Tara’s representative for comment.
