‘Imagine getting cooked’ – Fans in stitches as Everton troll Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior with brutal three-word message

IF a 3-0 away loss to Everton wasn’t bad enough for the already under-pressure Liam Rosenior, getting burned by the club on social media sealed the deal for a bad day at the office.

The Chelsea boss had to watch his side humbled by David Moyes‘ men on Merseyside as a chance to grab ahold of a Champions League place slipped away.

The Toffees social media team didn’t miss a beat as they posted ‘Respecting the ball’ after the 3-0 win thanks to a brace from Beto and an Iliman Ndiaye effort.

Of course, that is what Rosenior has told his team to do when they do a huddle around the match ball before kick off.

Well, respecting the ball is not doing the Blues many favours right now.

Rosenior has seen his troops win their last four games on the bounce, but they are still only one point away from the likely fifth Champions League place thanks to Liverpool also losing.

Everton‘s fans had a field day when they saw what the club tweeted to the dejected Blues.

One wrote: “Imagine getting cooked by Everton.”

Another posted: “But you did not respect Chelsea.”

A third replied: “And didn’t even need a cringe team huddle.”

A fourth commented: “As a Villa fan I’m a huge fan of this. Kudos to the Everton social media team, we’ll played.”

Everton are up to eighth and sit just two points behind Chelsea in the race for European football with just seven games left.

All of Brentford, Fulham, Brighton and Newcastle if they can beat Sunderland tomorrow are poised to gatecrash the European party just like Everton at the business end of the season.

For Rosenior, the Blues boss is undoubtedly under pressure just a couple of months into the job.

After getting off to a flying start, rumours have begun swirling that Chelsea are looking to replace him at the end of the season.

Champions League football and/or success in the FA Cup might be the only way Rosenior can salvage his job.
