THE STAR who secretly dropped out of I’m A Celebrity and was replaced by Jack Osbourne has been revealed.
The last-minute sign up has been a mystery since Jack admitted he only had days to prepare for the jungle.
Now The Sun can exclusively reveal it was boxer Conor Benn who was replaced at the eleventh hour on the ITV reality show.
We previously broke the news that Conor was in talks for the jungle, but we understand his fight with Chris Eubank Jr at the weekend put paid to him heading down under.
A source told us: “Conor was really keen to make it work, but in the end, it just wasn’t logistically viable for him to do the big match on Saturday night, and then leave for Australia the next day.
“In theory, he could have done it, if he had gone in as one of the late arrivals, but given how boxing matches are unpredictable, if he had been injured he wouldn’t have been able to fly.
“Neither ITV nor Conor could take that risk in the end, but the door is certainly open for the future.”
Instead of catching the flight, Conor celebrated his victory against Eubank Jr in style – splashing out on a £250,000 Ferrari supercar just hours after their rematch.
The Destroyer claimed the Benns’ first-ever win over the Eubanks, 35 years on from the first fight between the two fathers.
Benn floored Eubank, 36, twice in the 12th round at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
