I’M A Celebrity star Angry Ginge has revealed Wayne Rooney and his other famous pals are going to target him in Bushtucker Trial votes.

Darts sensation Luke Littler and Tottenham Hotspur footballer James Maddison – who was seen being taunted by Red Devils fan Ginge when their sides drew 2-2 last weekend – will also be voting for him.

And Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, also told how Wayne’s wife Coleen – who was the runner-up on last year’s series – has given him some secret advice on jungle life.

Speaking about Wayne, he told The Sun: “He was buzzing when I told him I was up for it. He said he can’t wait and he’ll be voting for me to do trials as well.

“Every single one you’ve just named (Wayne, Luke and James) basically said they’re going to try and make sure I do the trials.

“So at least I know I’ve got the backing of them to make me do trials.

“I’ve had some advice off Coleen as well, so that was good. Some tips and tricks while we’re in there.

“I’m not going to be sharing it, because I feel as though once I share it, that advice will be nullified – therefore I won’t be able to use it.”

Ginge is the early favourite to win the series, which kicks off on Sunday.

His price is as short as 2/1 with some bookies – despite many typical I’m A Celebrity viewers having never heard of him.

But he will likely bring an army of new, younger fans to the show – as he has more than five million followers across his social media platforms.

Despite his status as favourite, Ginge is incredibly modest and self-aware – and admits he is nervous about going into camp because he does not even consider himself a celebrity.

When asked why he thinks he is the favourite, he replied: “I have no idea why. I’ll take it!

“I think the main thing I’m nervous about is meeting the rest of the cast – just because I’ve never classed myself as a celebrity.

“So going up and meeting other people that actually are celebrities, that’s quite nerve-wracking in itself.

“I’ve got a feeling I might get a little bit of imposter syndrome. Hopefully it eases off the longer we’re in there.”

Ginge has built his huge online following through live-streaming himself gaming on platforms including Twitch.

He often streams for up to ten hours a day, and is famous for his bursts of rage while playing video games.

So what could make him flip in the jungle?

“Probably Ant and Dec p*****g themselves while I’ve got a tarantula on my head,” he says.

“That would probably do me a little bit. Them laughing if I’ve got to eat a fish eye or a kangaroo ball, something like that.”

He says he has packed extra sun cream for his time Down Under – and laughed: “I’ve whacked on factor 50 today – and that’s just because I stayed in.

“Every single person in there is going to be starving, probably dehydrated and we’re all in the jungle, we’ve got hot weather.

“Especially myself and my ginger hair.

“It’ll be interesting and we’re all going to be seeing each other’s vulnerable side. But it should be fun and I’m excited for it.”

Ginge reckons not being able to watch his beloved Man Utd will be “one of the biggest problems”.

He added: “I already know when we play. I know it’s the international break now, then I believe we’ve got Everton on the Monday after.

“Then I believe we’ve got Crystal Palace on the Sunday, and then we’ve got West Ham.

“So I’m hoping that maybe there’s some sort of challenge and I can win the results.”
