ANGRY Ginge has opened up about his humble upbringing as he praised his hardworking mum Michelle.
The content creator, 24, detailed his working-class background in an emotional chat with former Lioness Alex Scott.
“We’ve got no problems getting our hands stuck in,” Alex told Ginge on Thursday night’s instalment of I’m A Celebrity.
“That’s what we’ve had to do from being little to where we are now.”
Ginge shared that when it’s tough on him in the jungle, he always thinks back to watching his mum get up “for the first job”.
He added, “Then she’d go and finish that and then go to her second job, then go to her third job and then get home.

“If she can do it, then I can do this in the jungle.
The YouTube star added, “So that’s what keeps me going really.”
Earlier in the episode, Ginge discussed his work, saying, “The biggest thing with streaming, especially when you start off, is the mental game.
“Especially when your numbers are low, it’s so demotivating.”

Soap star Lisa Riley asked whether he had a fallback, to which he replied: “I always had a plan B, which is why I was always at college.
“But it’s a tough one, but I knew I was good at it.
“I don’t wanna sound cocky or anything, but I knew I had the element of entertainment,” the online star explained.
Alex discussed her partner, singer Jess Glynne, telling the camp, “That’s like my Jess, literally everyone was like, no, you need to have a backup.
“She was like I know I want to be a singer, I’m going to be a singer and then bam, she exploded!”
Ginge then shared his favourite mantra: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
Alex shared she also lives by that quote as she said: “I was not the one that was supposed to make it, no one ever said that I’d be going on to play for England.
“But I knew if I outworked everyone, if I was the fittest, if I was the strongest, then I’m the player that the coach has to pick all the time so I became that hardworking in every single thing.”
Ginge agreed: “It’s just how hard you want it.”
It comes after industry experts told The Sun that Ginge is expected to cash in with a massive six-figure deal after his success on I’m a Celebrity.
An insider told The Sun: “Ginge will be genuinely overwhelmed by the love he’s had from the public.
“Right now, he’ll be focused on enjoying every minute of the jungle and finishing strong.
“Once he’s out, there are definitely some big opportunities on the table, and he’ll be excited to explore them, whether that’s TV, books or something that allows him to use his platform for good.
“He’s spoken in the past about wanting to support young people and mental health, so it wouldn’t be surprising if something meaningful comes from that after the show.”
