I’m A Celebrity stars Angry Ginge and Kelly Brook’s ‘secret codenames revealed’ after bosses kept their identities under wraps ahead of their jungle arrival

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Bosses gave several of this year’s campmates secret codenames to keep their signings under wraps – and now they’ve reportedly been revealed.

YouTuber Angry Ginge, 24, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is reportedly one of the highest-paid stars on the 2025 ITV series, allegedly earning around £100,000, so producers were keen to keep his involvement top-secret.

To disguise his identity, bosses are said to have given him the codename Spicy, a nod to both his fiery red hair and the fact ginger is, of course, a spice.

ITV producers hand out cryptic codenames every year ahead of the official line-up announcement, usually linking them to the celebrity’s job, name or personality.

A source told The Sun: ‘They have come up with some great ones over the years, which always keep people guessing.

‘Ginge’s codename is particularly fitting — as he’s ITV’s secret ingredient to spice things up and bring in new viewers this year.’

Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.

It comes after Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson finally entered the I’m A Celeb camp during Thursday evening’s instalment of the hit ITV show.

Arriving as Bush Camp Chiefs, they were given the task to designate camp roles amongst the contestants.

After much deliberation, they settled on Kelly and Martin as camp chefs, Ruby Wax and Lisa Riley on washing up, Eddie Kadi and Ginge on water and Aitch and Alex Scott on wood.

Tom and Vogue also chose four badge winners, Kelly, Lisa, Ginge and Jack Osbourne, who were treated to a marshmallow and hot chocolate-filled campfire at Snake Rock.

Trying to keep morale up back at main camp, Aitch exclaimed: ‘We don’t need no badge.’

Following their arrival, Lisa Riley gave Vogue and Tom a tour of the camp as she warmly welcomed them in.

However, Jack Osbourne appeared not to be a fan of the shake-up their arrival in camp had caused.

Confiding in his fellow campmates, he said: ‘I feel resistance to Vogue and Tom.

He continued: ‘I’m just kinda like, “Hey, you don’t get to walk in halfway through the movie and decide to turn it off or change it.”

Finally, Ant and Dec returned to camp to tell the celebrities who will next be facing the Bushtucker Trial on Friday night.

And this time, the public had decided it would be Alex and Jack to take on the next challenge.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Friday on ITV1 and ITVX.
