AN I’m A Celebrity star has sparked mass fury over his claims that people over the age of 30 shouldn’t go clubbing as he said “it’s over for you.”
Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer has certainly ruffled some feathers as he launched into a fiery rant on social media.
The telly star shot to fame after starring in CBBC’s The Dumping Ground: he later landed roles in Hollyoaks and even completed the Aussie jungle coming in 10th place.
Taking to TikTok, the actor made his savage opinion on over 30s clubbing clear and it wasn’t well received by fans.
Malique said: “Yo, if you’re over the age of 30 and you’re going clubbing tonight, bro what are you doing?
“Take a break man, start a family, go on vacation. It’s a wrap there’s nothing out there for you.”

Channel 4‘s Malique then held his hands up and said: “Don’t shoot the messenger.”
He continued: “Bro come on the big three zero and you’re still out there. Leave it.”
Furious fans flooded Malique’s comments, taking a stand and telling him why they still enjoying hitting the dance floor above the age of 30.
One fan penned: “I’m 32 and come out of a 10 year relationship last year. I am outside this summer so shut up.”
Another viewer wrote: “47 and going Garage Nation with my 23 year old, loving life.”
A third fan said: “34, 4 kids, my own business. If I wanna go dance my feet off I will.”
Meanwhile, a fourth person added: “Just wondering ‘bro’ what should be out there for us??? God forbid I just like to go out and have a dance.”
Malique captioned the controversial clip, “food for thought.”
It seems his cheeky post didn’t quite get the reception he was hoping for.
The Celebs Go Dating star is currently appearing on the much-loved soap Hollyoaks as Prince, who is part of the iconic McQueen family.
Malique’s character, Prince, has recently endured a heartbreaking storyline when his estranged ex-girlfriend Zoe Anderson and her mystery new man sent him official papers to adopt his son.
At the time the episodes were aired, an insider told Digital Spy: “The news that his son could be adopted by another man is really tough for Prince to take.
“It feels like he’s losing any connection he has to Theo, who is already on the other side of the world.”
