I’m A Celebrity‘s Kelly Brook shocked fans during her Race Across The World stint last year when she revealed her real name.
Despite being in the spotlight for decades as Miss Brook, the former glamour model, now 46, explained that she was actually forced to change her name early into her career.
The revelation came during an episode when Kelly surprised fans as she and her husband Jeremy planned their next move after reaching the first checkpoint in Brazil.
The Heart FM presenter was born as Kelly Anne Parsons, but adopted the surname Brook when she kicked off her modelling career.
She added that despite that being the name she’s known by, it’s never been added to her passport.
Kelly said: ‘Kelly Brook doesn’t actually exist, it’s not even a real name, it’s never even been on my passport or anything. In my mind I’m Mrs Parisi, Jeremy’s wife.’

As she also recently stressed on I’m A Celebrity when Lisa Riley said she’s known as a ‘sex kitten’, Kelly said this view of her couldn’t be further from the truth.
Kelly said back on Race Across The World: ‘My happy place is in my garden in my wellies, no makeup, hair up.
‘To think that I was like a pin-up and I do calendars, it’s just all an illusion, like, it’s not who I am at all.’
It was a revelation that left some viewers stunned at the time, with posts to X including: ‘Kelly Brook is not her real name!!!’

As reported by the Daily Star, a page three photographer Jeany Savage revealed: ‘I persuaded her to change her name from Parsons which sounded so awful to Brook.’
The former glamour model went on to admit that when her name was Parsons, she was actually bullied for it at school.
Kelly added: ‘My real name is Kelly Parsons and they used to call me Smelly Parsnips because it rhymes.’

Ahead of her stint in the jungle, Kelly admitted that while she is confident in her body as a 40-something, she hopes that those who knew her as a bikini model are accepting of her aging too

Kelly told The Mirror: ‘Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes.
‘And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look.
‘You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing.
‘I feel really confident. I feel like my body is in good shape. I just feel great. I am 46, I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I ran a marathon this year….so I am proud of that.’
