I’M A Celebrity star Kadeena Cox gave fans a health update as she shared a clip of her in a wheelchair.
The Paralympic athlete, 34, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014 after previously suffering a stroke.
Kadeena, who appeared on the ITV jungle show in 2021, posted a clip of her in a wheelchair.
In the clip, Kadeena pretended to sob and wipe away tears, as she told fans: “Getting told you have multiple sclerosis and you have to use a wheelchair at 23.”
She captioned it: ” When life gives you lemons. Living my best wheelchair baddie life.”
Although the clip was supposed to be lighthearted, many sent their support Kadeena’s way.
One wrote: “Sending you… I have two friends dealing with MS…” with a string of love hearts.
A second posted: “Fellow MS baddie, i think of you every time i have a bad ms day. thank you for sharing with us!”
Another empathised and wrote: “Seven years with MS…It’s a struggle sometime.”
Kadeena won over a whole legion of new fans during her time on I’m A Celeb four years ago.
But she revealed that her MS was so bad during her time in camp that she needed help getting to the loo.
The gold medallist struggled with fatigue, spasms and slurred speech.
aid: “I thought my MS would be nice to me.
“Turns out MS is never nice to you, so I really struggled with the fatigue and my spasms were being quite a problem, and there was points where my speech was really slurred and everyone was really worried about me.
“There was times when literally the campmates had to help me get into bed, they had to help me get to the toilet, and it was a real struggle.”
Kadeena became the third celebrity to leave the ITV show that year after Arlene Phillips was voted out and Richard Madeley became ill. She was up against journalist Louise Minchin, 53, in the public vote.
