I’m A Celebrity… fans were left baffled after spotting AngryGinge’s unusual hygiene habit – but do you agree with him?
The YouTuber, 24, and his fellow celebrities are over halfway through their jungle journey, with the body odour to prove it.
In Wednesday’s episode, Ginge was shown using roll on deodorant, but his technique confused viewers.
It saw the star – whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle – apply the deodorant to his t-shirt, rather than his skin.
Taking to X, one fan penned: ‘Watching Ginge putting deodorant on his t-shirt pits makes me glad we haven’t progressed to smell-e-vision yet. That camp must be lifting.’
Another remarked: ‘Ginge would’ve had more luck with Shona’s air freshener.’

Viewers were confused by his technique applying roll on deodorant
The streamer, 24, faced off against his pal Aitch in a Bushtucker Trial
While a third commented: ‘What on earth did ginge do with the deodorant on his top?’
However, others pointed out that he may have been applying it to his skin AND the t-shirt for maximum odour protection, quipping: ‘He probably didn’t have a choice in that heat!’
Elsewhere, in the episode the campmates received a surprising twist as they were split into six pairs of ‘rivals’.
Each campmate now has a ‘rival’ who they will go up against in challenges over the next few days – as determined by the public.
In addition to deciding who eats each night, these will also ultimately determine who will face the first vote off.
Naturally, Ginge’s ‘rival’ is his close pal Aitch, with the pair’s first face-off seeing them sit in a tank of offal, racing to scoop up the offal and get it into a box.
Fortunately for Ginge, he managed to secure the win and returned to main camp – now ‘Win City’ – along with fellow victors Lisa, Jack, Ruby, Alex and Vogue.
The six losing campmates – Aitch, Martin, Kelly, Tom, Eddie and Shona – were therefore all sent to the dreary, undesirable ‘Doomsville’ camp on basic rations.
In scenes aired on Monday night, Ginge was shown struggling with homesickness and missing his family.
He shared in the Bush Telegraph: ‘It’s a bit of a s**t day really, I just feel as though I’m missing home, missing speaking to my family, food and drink as well is a massive part but they say you have up days and down days…’
Pausing, Ginge then added as he choked up: ‘I’m holding it in. I suppose it’s just one of my down days…’
His mum Michelle told The Sun: ‘I haven’t managed to watch the full episode yet as I’ve been travelling, but I saw a clip on TikTok.
‘My heart absolutely sank, I started crying.
‘It was so hard to see, because I know Morgan is such a strong person, so he must have been struggling a lot.
‘I just can’t wait to give him the biggest hug on that bridge.’
Elsewhere, viewers slammed fellow campmate Ruby Wax for an ‘inappropriate’ and ’embarrasing’ gesture to Ginge as he set off for a trial.
Ruby, 72, and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, 49, waved him off before crossing the bridge to do Terrflying Tours.
Before Ginge left, Ruby stopped him and said: ‘I just want to give you the lucky underpants. I always wear red when, you know, I want to pull off something.’
AngryGinge then said to camera: ‘Ruby gave me her lucky underwear. However, we will see how lucky they are today.’
She then took the YouTuber’s rucksack and placed the knickers in his bag.
Ruby said: ‘Take that along and you think of those lucky pants.’
AngryGinge added: ‘I won’t be touching them. I won’t be doing anything with them.’
Lisa then shouted: ‘Bye darling!’ as she waved him off, while Ruby added: ‘The pants are clean!’
‘They will be remaining in the bag until I get back to camp and Ruby can retrieve them from the bag,’ AngryGinge said to camera.
Those watching at home were not impressed.

One said on X: ‘Anyone else think Ruby giving Ginge her underwear is just weird and disgusting. Imagine the outrage if it was the other way round!’
‘For a woman of her age the way ruby wax speaks is disgusting. Very unlady like and I felt embarrassed having my 11 year old watch that #imaceleb @ofcom.’
‘Not Ruby giving Ginge her lucky pants #imaceleb.’
‘Ruby take your knickers back man smh.’
However some fans found it funny.
‘Ruby giving Ginge her lucky pants was hilarious.’
‘I never thought in 2025 I would be listening to angry ginge talking about Ruby wax’s knickers but here we are.’
