I’m A Celebrity fans call out ‘fake scenes’ as stars including Kelly Brook and Aitch are ‘surprised’ with skydive

I’M A Celebrity viewers have called out the stars of the show after they acted surprised about something that happens every series.

Tonight’s show kicked off in style with the first five celebrities – Aitch, Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Shona McGarty and Martin Kemp riding in helicopters to meet Ant and Dec.

But they appeared to get a real shock when the hosts revealed they would in fact be skydiving down.

Kelly looked horrified, while Martin Kemp was equally as shocked by the news. Kelly had just admitted she was so scared of heights she struggled on an escalator.

Those watching at home were taken aback by the reaction, considering sky diving takes place every year.

One person remarked: “Why they all acting like they didn’t know that was coming when they jump in every year.”

A second said: “Are we actually pretending that the parachute hasn’t been done loads before on #ImACeleb ? Okay.”

While a third added: “It must be such a massive surprise for them to have to parachute out of a helicopter, considering they do it every f**king year.”

And another questioned: “They definitely don’t look like the inside of the same helicopters, from when they took off to when they jumped out.”

Once they met An and Dec they were told they would have to take on a star-studded challenge, complete with wading through offal and slime, in order to win two coveted seats in the Getaway car.

Off to a flying start, Aitch was the first celebrity to unlock the Getaway key fob attached to a rope by unscrewing a series of bolts as he repeated to himself: “Get me in that motor!”. It was a close race to the finish for second place, with Eddie taking the title, as he and Aitch did a happy dance.

Without further ado, a delighted Aitch and Eddie headed off to the jungle in style, clinking cocktails and singing: “Aitch and Eddie in the jungle!” 

This meant Shona, Kelly and Martin were left to face the dreaded Cockie van with none other than Kiosk Kev at the wheel. As it approached, a horrified Kelly squealed: “I don’t wanna get in a cock van!” 

Ant and Dec were quick to reassure her: “It’s a Cockie van, Cockie van.” 

Less than impressed, Shona, Martin and Kelly begin their arduous journey into camp.

As Martin said to the group: “We’re gutted aren’t we?” 

Shona quipped back: “Yeah, fish gutted! Absolutely fish gutted.”
