IT’S THE news I’m Celebrity fans have been waiting for – the start date for the new series has finally been confirmed.
Today Ant and Dec teased the show’s loyal viewers in a brand new Christmas themed advert.
The Geordie duo return to host this year’s I’m A Celebrity, and now they have confirmed the hotly-anticipated start date.
The first trailer for the new series dropped today and has revealed when the latest batch of stars will head into the jungle.
In the short clip, Ant and Dec can be seen wearing matching Christmas jumpers with spiders, bugs and the iconic gold stars emblazoned on them.
Ant then says: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year… and it’s about to get even better with the news that the new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ is just weeks away!”
Then revealing the show’s star date, Dec says: “Yes, it’s time to Ant and Dec(k) the halls and clear your diaries, because we’re coming back to your screens on 16th November!”
“As everybody knows, nothing says Christmas like a host of hungry celebrities in the Aussie jungle covered in bugs,” jokes Ant.
Dec then adds: “It’s the gift that keeps on giving. You’re welcome!”
So fans only have two weeks to go before I’m A Celebrity 2025 starts on Sunday, November 16.

Meanwhile, the suspected line-up includes a whole range of famous faces, from soap stars to TV personalities.
The Sun exclusively revealed that ex-EastEnders star Shona, 34, was in advanced talks for the jungle – a year after leaving the BBC soap.
A source said at the time: “Jungle bosses have been keen to sign up the soap queen for ages.
“Shona is Walford royalty and hugely popular with TV viewers, she’s got bags of charisma and producers think she’ll be a great campmate.
“Plus fans haven’t seen much of her away from Enders, so I’m A Celeb will be an opportunity for her to show a completely different side to her personality.
“Show bosses are already talking to some brilliant names for the new series.”
Another big name that The Sun revealed is Kelly Brook, with a source telling us: “Show bosses have been after Kelly as a campmate for years and think she could possibly be their sexiest contestant ever.”
Other names linked to the show include Nick Ferrari, Vogue Williams, and Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley.
The soap star is understood to be one of the first stars to sign up to this year’s edition of the programme.
When speaking to The Sun on the red carpet of this year’s National Television Awards she revealed it was “flattering” to be asked each year to take part.
However, she played down reports and insisted: “They ask me every year to do it.
“Listen, who knows, I think I would be camp and fun and I’d have a laugh.
“I wouldn’t want to cook if we did go in there as I’m not a***d about that.
“But no I’m not, they’ve asked me for seven years now – every single year.”
Lisa went on to add: “I don’t know [why she turned it down].
“I am obviously filming Emmerdale and being Mandy Dingle – I can’t put my tabard down!
“If I went in the jungle, I’d need my tabard with me.”
