I’M A Celebrity viewers were left confused after Jess Glynne was noticeably absent from her girlfriend Alex Scott’s elimination.
The former Lioness, 41, became the first star booted out the jungle on Friday night, up against ex-model Kelly Brook.
Fans were expecting Hold My Hand hitmaker Jess, 36, to meet Alex at the end of the bridge, ready to pop the question.
“We wanted Jess to be at the end with a ring,” one wrote on X.
A second said, “I really thought Jess would have been on the bridge to meet Alex.”
While a third penned, “What a let down it’s not Jess at the end of the tunnel.”

Instead of being greeted by Jess, Alex was met at the end of the bridge by her friend Regan Coleman.
Alex revealed in camp that she was waiting for the singer to propose, with Jess telling fans that she needed to “buy a ring”.
Another viewer joked, “Jess Glynne isn’t there?? Surely Jet2 could have sorted her out.”
Someone else said, “Wait Jess isn’t at the end of the bridge with the ring ready to propose??”

A second theorised, “I wonder if Jess Glynne is waiting for Alex back at the hotel?”
Jess has been supporting Alex from home since the show started, even backing her on ITV’s This Morning earlier today.
Fans finally put two and two together, realising that if she was filming in London today, she wouldn’t make it to Australia in time.
“Jess Glynne was literally on This Morning earlier so impossible for her to be in Australia,” another explained on X.
“Her Mum & Jess on This Morning today so who’s gonna meet her,” a second wrote.
It was last week that Jess sent fans into a frenzy after teasing that she’ll propose.
Alex told camp co-star Ruby Wax that she was waiting for Jess to pop the question.
“I think before her, I never knew happiness,” the former pro footballer explained.
“She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse…I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… [it was] really ballsy.
“I was like, I like your ballsiness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah…we fell madly in love,” Alex explained.
Asked if marriage was on the cards, she said, “I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes.”
Jess took to her Instagram, saying, “I better go get a ring.”
Fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, as one theorised, “jess glynne is going to propose to alex on the bridge isn’t she.”
