A body language expert has revealed that there’s a lot more to Kelly Brook and Jack Osbourne’s I’m A Celebrity clash than meets the eye after the pair locked horns in a string of arguments about who was in charge of the kitchen.
Viewers first called out tension between the pair on Tuesday after they clashed over who was was heading up cooking for the camp, with Kelly criticising the way he peeled potatoes and claiming she felt ‘useless’ because he wouldn’t let her help.
Jack ultimately stepped back from cooking, but Wednesday’s episode saw Kelly, 45, branded ‘insufferable’ by fans after she asked Jack, 40, for help with dinner, only to immediately criticise him and gag over the smell.
Joanne Pearson from Private Investigations UK has given an insight into what could happen next after the campmates fell out as they cooked an eel for dinner.
Expert Joanne, explained how the former glamour model, isn’t ‘accustomed to male intervention’ which caused a moment of ‘vulnerability and embarrassment’ while Jack was trying to be ‘supportive.’
She explained: ‘Kelly showed classic signs of feeling overshadowed, a micro-flinch, stepping back, tightening her jaw, and forcing a smile.
‘These indicate someone who suddenly feels their contribution is being overridden.’

Joanne added: ‘Kelly’s career background, where she often works independently, or in highly controlled environments – means she is not used to men stepping in to help her in practical, hands-on situations.
‘So when Jack leaned in, her instinctive read was “correction”, not “collaboration”. It triggered a moment of vulnerability rather than anger.
‘Jack’s behaviour was purely practical. His movements were direct but not aggressive, showing he was trying to help the group, not undermine Kelly.’
Joanne went on to explained how the stress of the jungle with hunger and fatigue can cause ‘competing instincts’ to clash.
She predicts that upcoming episodes could see Kelly either try and reassert herself, withdraw and avoid involvement, or over apologise to smooth things over.
‘A simple acknowledgement from Jack, something like “you take the lead, I’ll back you up”, would reset the dynamic instantly,’ she added.
During the episode Eddie Kadi had won six stars in the Bushtucker Trial earlier in the day, with the campmates being delivered eel for dinner.
Kelly asked Jack to help before offering to fillet the eel herself which promoted Jack to question ‘but, you asked me to help?’

As he cut up the fish, Kelly then gagged over the smell and wretched in a bush at the side of the camp.
Speaking to the Bush Telegraph afterwards, she said: ‘He was elbowing me out of the way to get to this fish to be a caveman.’
Jack added: ‘It’s a fish, you rip the guts out. I was like I’m not going to waste.’
Viewers found the scene annoying and shared on X: ‘Kelly Brook is seriously getting on my wick, asking Jack to do the eel, then shaming for doing it, then when she took it back from him retching #ImACeleb glad she’s got tomorrow’s trial’;
‘Kelly Brook picking at Jack Osbourne as if she’s his sister Kelly Osbourne #ImACeleb’;
‘Kelly Brook needs to leave Jack alone to do his little cooking in peace. Why is she so weird #ImACeleb.’
Tensions first began to boil over on Tuesday’s episode. Previously had taken on the role as unofficial camp chef, but butted heads with Kelly over the preparation of potatoes.
Claiming she felt displaced by Jack, Kelly confessed: ‘I’m not gonna lie, last night I just felt, I just felt a bit lost.
‘I just want to be so useful, I’m just still trying to find my place in the camp in terms of what to do.’
Justifying her attempts to steer Jack in the kitchen, she added: ‘I’m so sorry Jack if I’m coming at you and if I’m cutting potatoes wrong, but honestly it’s only coming from a place where I just want to help.’
Jack fired back: ‘That’s just because in my world at home I’ve got four kids and I’m always just doing, doing, doing.’
Seemingly feeling bruised after the altercation, he later made the decision to hand over cooking duties to Alex Scott and Shona McGarty.
Confusingly, when Alex suggested Kelly could help out, she declined.
The disagreement between the pair even sparked fears among viewers that he might quit the jungle amid the rising ‘stress’ and his emotional start to the series.
Claiming the cooking wasn’t his to delegate in the first place, Kelly said to Alex and Shona: ‘So he’s not in charge but then he’s in charge of everything, choosing who’s gonna be in charge!’
