An idiotic rapper could face jail time and a hefty fine after he shared footage of himself trespassing in a popular national park.
Musical artist Doeboi909 appears to have ignored a federal law that prohibits people from walking on thermal features at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
The California rapper posted a video on his YouTube Channel on May 4 that shows him standing next to the edge of a steaming hot spring.
Doeboi909 identified his location as Mammoth Hot Springs, a popular geothermal area within Yellowstone known for its travertine terraces.
‘It’s blue, that’s how hot it is. It’s over a thousand degrees,’ Doeboi909 said in the video, over the sound of rushing water from the hot spring.
He then urged his followers to provide ideas for new locations to visit, saying: ‘Let me know in the comments where you want to go next. Your boy going to take you there.’
The park has notified authorities about the video, a Yellowstone spokesperson confirmed to DailyMail.com, adding that law enforcement will ‘determine what action can be taken’.
Tourists have previously been fined and jailed for trespassing on Yellowstone’s closed thermal areas.

There are more than 10,000 active hydrothermal features throughout Yellowstone, including hot springs, mudpots, fumaroles and geysers.
Walking on the park’s thermal features, even unintentionally, is ‘illegal’ and ‘extremely dangerous’, according to park officials.
Yellowstone rules prohibit visitors from straying from designated walkways and trails in the thermal areas. Park officials warn that the ground in these areas is often thin, breakable crust that sits over scalding hot water.
Tourists who leave designated park paths put themselves at risk of suffering severe burns. More than 20 people have died from burns sustained from jumping or falling into a Yellowstone hot spring, according to the park.
People who have previously violated park rules about walking on closed thermal areas have been fined, jailed and banned from Yellowstone.
Two men were sentenced to 10 days in jail and five years probation in 2019 after they trespassed on Old Faithful Geyser. The pair were each hit with a $540 fine and a five year ban from the park.
‘Visitors must realize that walking on thermal features is dangerous, damages the resource, and illegal,’ Chief Ranger Sarah Davis said in a press release announcing their sentence.
‘Law enforcement officers take this violation seriously. Yellowstone National Park also appreciates the court for recognizing the impact thermal trespass can have on these amazing features.’

Park officials have notified law enforcement about the video. It remains unclear if Doeboi909 (pictured) will face any charges. However, Yellowstone visitors have been fined and jailed in the past for trespassing on the park’s closed thermal areas
Three Yellowstone visitors were jailed and fined last year for violating park rules, including actor Pierce Brosnan.
Brsonan was fined, but did not serve jail time, after he was caught walking in one of the thermal areas.
A Yellowstone National Park spokesperson confirmed on Thursday that they are aware of Doeboi909’s video.
‘We have forwarded the video to our law enforcement officers, and they will determine what action can be taken. We appreciate your concern,’ the official said via email.
DailyMail.com has also approached the United States Attorney’s Office District of Wyoming for further information about Doeboi909’s apparent trespassing.
