THREE US military bombers have touched down in the UK after Keir Starmer approved “defensive” action against Iran’s missile sites.
The daunting B-52 bombers were seen landing at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, just after Donald Trump warned the reeling regime “the big one” was coming.
An American flag was pictured draped in the cockpit of one of the flying fortresses, which has a missile launch range of more than 1,500 miles.
Each aircraft costs $2billion and is capable of carrying a whopping 31 tonnes of weaponry – including bombs, mines and missiles.
The fearsome planes are also capable of carrying nukes, such as gravity bombs and nuclear-armed cruise missiles, along with its conventional arms.
