A GROOMING gang survivor has bravely spoken out about the years of abuse she suffered at the hands of her attackers – who remain free to roam the streets.
Scarlett, now 20, was just 14-years-old when she was targeted and trafficked across the country to be beaten and raped by “dozens” of men.
The 20-year-old, from Hyde, Manchester, told how she was harrowingly plied with booze and drugs by the predators.
Scarlett kept the evidence on a battered iPad, which is full of videos and photos of the horrors, out of fear her attackers may never see justice.
The survivor – who was privately educated in the area – would often wake up disorientated and covered in bruises.
She says the iPad was her lifeline, telling Sky News: “I knew I would not be able to get hold of this stuff ever again if I didn’t keep this.”

Scarlett’s story demonstrates how working class white girls were not the only young women to fall victim to Pakistani-Muslim gangs.
The horrifying ordeal began when Scarlett was attacked in a park by a group who kicked her, pulled a knife on her and set fire to her hair.
It was from this moment Scarlett said her life went rapidly downhill.
In a heartbreaking confession, she told how she thought it was “easier” to become part of the gang and continue to be bullied.
Over the following years, she was trafficked across towns and raped by “countless men” over a period of years.
Even when the teenager was put into care home, she would be picked up by members of the gang outside the building.
During her years of torment, she was introduced to another girl, “Leila”.
Scarlett initially saw Leila, who had also been raped by the gang, as her “protector”.
While staying at hotels, the pair were given drugs and Leila would have sex with men who came to the room.
But, recalling a harrowing tale, Scarlett told how she was left alone with two men on one occasion.
She could not remember the events of the night, but described “still being on drugs” when she woke the next morning.
Scarlett said: “I don’t even remember the night, really. I just remember waking up in the middle of the night to him next to me…
“Leila in one bed with the other guy, condoms that are open on the floor and stuff, and I think I was still on drugs as well.
“My head was just going, I just couldn’t comprehend, like what had even gone on.”
The then-teenager recounted seeing the men hand Leila a wad of cash as they went to leave.
This was the sickening moment Scarlett realised her “protector” had been “prostituting me out”.
On another occasion, she told how a car dumped her outside Manchester Prison in the freezing cold.
Standing miles away from home, Scarlett admitted being “absolutely scared for my life”.
In Sky’s documentary, Prey: Inside Today’s Grooming Gangs, she reveals both she and the other girls were used to sell and ferry drugs.
Another shocking video on Scarlett’s iPad shows her sitting on one of the predator’s laps as she speeds down the road in a Mercedes aged just 16.
She would often get hundreds of unknown men adding her on social media each week.
Scarlett’s dad, Marlon, previously spoke to The Sun about the trauma she went through at the hands of the grooming gangs.
He says Scarlett, who went to a private prep school and rode her horse Jasper straight after lessons each day, started staying out late at night.
Marlon told how his daughter’s behaviour changed “pretty rapidly”.
In an emotional interview, he said: “It wrecked her childhood, and it’s destroyed me thinking about what she went through.
“It’s only now, with maturity, she looks back and realises what was actually going on.
“She’s been raped that many times that it became normal for her.
“She has her own place but will often call me at three or four am after having nightmares about what happened to her.”
A year before she was trafficked to Rochdale from her home near Hyde, Manchester, an associate of the gangs threatened to kill her dad.
They sent Scarlett a chilling video featuring a gun and ammunition.
Weeks earlier, a balaclava-clad man was captured on CCTV delivering a menacing letter to Marlon’s house, calling Scarlett a s**g.
Marlon, a psychiatric nurse, claims police and social work did little to protect his daughter.
He claims they branded him a menace because he repeatedly reported her missing.
Marlon says Scarlett’s story is proof that the gangs continue to hold an iron grip over the northern town at the heart of the scandal.
After initially refusing to order a national inquiry into the grooming gang, Sir Keir Starmer finally performed a major U-turn on his decision in June.
The PM sparked national outcry after refusing to order the investigation into the sickening rapes of mainly white girls by Asian gangs.
But Scarlett is not convinced that the investigation will lead to significant change.
She added: “They’re not the ones that are being raped, they’re not the ones who are being groomed…
“… they don’t know how it feels, so they just… throw you away and you’ve got to deal with it on your own.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed an “extensive” probe had been launched into Scarlett and her father’s allegations.
A spokesperson said: “We have met with Scarlett and her father, and we’re conducting an extensive investigation into their allegations.
“While we understand the impact of their experience cannot be undone, we are confident that victims’ experience of the GMP of today would be much improved from that of previous years.”
