A WOMAN was left shocked to discover a mystery door concealed behind a drywall in a house she had bought.
The homeowner had been excited to start decorating her new pad with her partner, and was left baffled at finding a hidden room she didn’t know existed.

In a clip posted on her @goldenberryx page, she shared the moment they peeled back the drywall to reveal the unexpected wooden door.
She shared: “We opened up the drywall and found a door no one knew existed. 1930s houses really said: plot twist.”
The clip had the audio of a woman manically laughing, and the woman added the text: “The sound of the previous owners’ laughter as soon as the sale went through.”
The couple had no idea what was inside the room, but set about gingerly removing the wall in front so they could find out.
Many people were equally creeped out by the discovery, with the video racking up nine million views.
One person wrote: “I’ve seen this movie. seal that back up immediately, call a priest, and get cats.”
Another added: “Please update… we need to see what’s behind the door……”
However, a third joked: “I’m more baffled by the fact that you have paper walls.”
Although they admitted they were “scared s***less”, they were pleasantly surprised at what lay behind the door, and posted a follow-up clip.
The woman continued: “Everyone expecting a haunted room… it’s a bathroom, besties.
“Honestly shocked to find a whole second bathroom back there, because the previous owners literally plastered over the old door.
“So no, the house isn’t haunted… just cursed with questionable carpentry.”
While the woman seemed happy, not everyone was as relaxed.

One said in the comments: “There was a reason that the bathroom was covered. I pray against wickedness in Jesus name.”
A second chimed in: “Looks like a non-permitted addition that they had to ‘undo’ real fast.”
This isn’t the first time someone has discovered a secret room or door in their home and been left terrified.
We previously shared the horrifying moment a woman realises her under-stairs storage is another room with a secret door to main street.
And another couple found a secret room hidden in their basement that was hiding an extremely creepy feature.
