I put 3st on with each of my pregnancies but never got stretch marks – my hack sounds weird but it works

ACCORDING to the NHS, stretch marks affect eight out of ten pregnant women.

And it’s no surprise, as the skin around your belly is stretched to the max to make room for a growing baby.

But according to mum-of-three Hannah East, there’s a bizarre hack that works a charm to prevent stretch marks – and it’s worked with all of her pregnancies.

On the latest episode of Fabulous’ No Parental Guidance podcast, the comedian shared how she tackled the streaks on her bump, dubbing the unusual method ”a game-changer”.

Chatting to fellow host Louise Boyce, the MUTV stunner revealed that one of her biggest concerns with pregnancy was getting stretch marks.

”My mum got loads of stretch marks and you can still see them.

”I was like, I don’t want to get stretch marks.”

One day, out of nowhere and without any research, Hannah came up with an idea – to cover her baby bump in oil and wrap the area with cling film.

According to Hannah, she would sleep like this every night – and while sometimes she’d wake up ”itchy”, the smooth skin has been worth it.

”I’ve never read anywhere [about the hack]. Nobody has ever recommended to do this.

”But I did it with all three pregnancies.

”This is a game-changer.”

Hannah, who put on 3 stone with each of her pregnancies, went on: ”I am no medical professional. Nobody has ever advised me.

”I’ve never seen article say to do this – so maybe don’t try it,” said Hannah.

According to the mum-of-three, the only time she did have stretch marks was towards the very end of her pregnancy with son Logan – and even then, there was barely any.

”Now I’m like, where else can I put [the cling film]?” she chuckled.

Many people believe that cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil help improve stretch marks.

The hilarious episode also saw the bubbly duo chat about their underwear choice following motherhood – including maternity bras, Spanx and thongs.

”I have nice underwear – I don’t wear it,” confessed Hannah, who previously recalled the mortifying moment she puked in a cup metres away from King Charles.

”You have your period pants, period underwear, comfy bra. I sitll wear my maternity sports bra-esque tops.

”I’m not breastfeeding – I just really enjoy the comfort of those.”
