I moved to a posh mansion after growing up on a council estate – but our judgy neighbour was so vile we had to leave

A woman who moved from a council estate to a ‘posh’ area admitted she wasn’t prepared to have to deal with a ‘vile’ neighbour.

Terri-Ann Nunns, 41, from Doncaster, who previously featured on Channel 5‘s Rich House, Poor House, has revealed how she moved from a one-bedroom flat into her ‘dream’ mansion after creating a successful diet plan.

However her fairytale was short lived after the person living next door made her living situation so difficult she was forced to sell the property and move out.

Her luxe abode came with a cinema room and bar – but it was unfortunately not to be her forever place.

Taking to TikTok, the entrepreneur claimed he had a problem with her because she ‘wasn’t posh’ and will ‘always a bit rough and ready.’

The mother-of-three explained the real problems began when she spent £40,000 building a home office in her garden.

In the clip, which racked up more than 16,000 views, she explained: ‘So before the Rich House, Poor House I had a different house.

‘It were probably a bit bigger, had a, like, cinema room, bar and everything in it were amazing, like dream house. Then I had a new neighbour and he wasn’t very nice,’ she said.

‘I think personally he could not stand the fact like I’m just me-I’m not posh, I’m just me, I’ll never change.’

‘I’ll always be from a council estate, always a bit rough and ready… and he just couldn’t stand us.’

Terri-Ann explained she had a ‘massive drive’ for all her staff to park on, but they all arrived for work at different times, meaning that they ended up blocking each other in.

‘So he was moaning about my staff parking on street,’ she continued. ‘I had a massive, drive for everybody to park on, every staff member, but because they’re coming at different times, one of them would get blocked in.

‘So they just thought, oh, we’ll park on street. So one of my staff argued with him.

‘He nudged her, it was vile. Honestly, I just think he just couldn’t stand the fact that we weren’t posh. We were just, like, normal.’

Terri-Ann believes that her neighbour ended up phoning the council to say she was running a commercial business out of her home.

‘I don’t know, he just hated us,’ she added. ‘So he was phoning the council on me for having all these cars.

‘And then when council got involved, basically the reason I had to move out the house is because they said I couldn’t run my business from there.

‘So I’d spent £40,000 on this office being built in the back garden, and the council turned around and said you’re using your property as a commercial property which we weren’t.

‘We had the big house and the thing at the back garden. Anyway, I said I’m not staying here.

‘I’m not staying here and not be able to run my business. It’s just not worth it, what we’ve invested.
