FRANK WARREN has talked up a huge heavyweight title fight between two of his British stars.
Hall of Fame promoter Warren has some of the biggest names in the world signed to his Queensberry stable, including Tyson Fury.
And Fury is set to make a comeback this year following his retirement in January 2025 – on the back of two losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk vacated the WBO belt in November with Fabio Wardley being elevated from interim champion.
Fury has called to fight Wardley this year in a mouthwatering all-British title bout.
But the returning Daniel Dubois has also put himself in the mix to face Wardley – something Warren says may not come next but could be massive.
He told talkSPORT: “We will be announcing a couple more shows in the coming weeks.
“One will be featuring Daniel Dubois, one will be featuring Fabio Wardley. We are delivering some cracking shows for the fans.
“I don’t know [if Dubois vs Wardley will happen. I love that fight between two big punchers, that’d be exciting.
“We are talking to both sides at the moment, and that’s not something that’s been discussed.”
Wardley, 31, dramatically stopped Joseph Parker, 33, in round 11 of their WBO interim title bout in October at the O2 Arena.
But he celebrated being bumped up to the full belt following the news that Usyk, 38, would be relinquishing the strap.
The Ukrainian had become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champ after beating Dubois, 28, in round five of their July rematch.
Dubois is yet to return since but Wardley is open to the fight if the Londoner gets back to winning ways.
Wardley said on Sky Sports: “Another great fight. Seeing us two matched up would be a fantastic fight.
“He hasn’t had a win, coming off that loss as of yet so maybe a little win to bounce back into things and then we can get something heated up later in the year.”
