She revealed that her tips were simple, and that it is all about staying in a calorie deficit rather than heading to the gym.

But to do this, Tina explained that people must change the way they think about food and what they surround themselves with.

First off, Tina urges social media users to start following people on Instagram who encourage healthy living and to get rid of the “mukbangs” and all the food channels.

She advises people to start following weight loss influencers to help keep motivated and find someone who is going to help you stick to your diet and not stray.

Her second tip is to walk everywhere, as “you do not need a gym membership.”

Tina revealed that walking outside and on a treadmill is all she did to lose 80lbs.

She advises walking at a “fast pace so that you are in that fat-burning zone and you wanna walk for a good amount of time, at least 30 minutes. But even 10 to 20 minutes, great.”

Tina also said that people shouldn’t buy foods that trigger them.

For example, if you have crisps in the house and you know that is “your weakness,” then “stop buying” them.

She adds: “Yes, eventually we wanna be able to eat all foods in moderation, but right now, you know that you are not headstrong enough to do that.”

Tina also urges those keen to lose weight to drink water, as your “body is thirsty; you’re not always hungry.”

She suggests putting a flavoured squash into it for those who aren’t keen on drinking water on its own.

Her fifth tip is to keep busy, and to not sit on the sofa thinking about food all day.

She adds: “Get a hobby, okay? Go for a walk, leave the house, clean the house. Just don’t sit there and think about what you’re gonna eat all day.”

Her seventh tip is to track every food that you eat because if “you’re used to eating a lot of food,” then it’s important to educate yourself on how many calories are in that.

Tina’s final tip is zero-calorie carbonated drinks, which include sparkling water and diet fizzy drinks, before a meal so that when the food comes, you are more full.

A second added: “Finally someone normal who is actually giving us validated tips and points, not like those people who are trying to make us spend money with diet plans or gym memberships.”

How cutting out sugar can help you lose weight

It might sound obvious, but cutting out sugar can help you lose weight – and this is why

  1. Reduced alorie intake: Sugar is calorie-dense but not nutrient-dense, meaning it provides a lot of calories without making you feel full. By cutting out sugar, you naturally reduce your overall caloric intake, which can create a calorie deficit and lead to weight loss.
  2. Lower Insulin Levels: Consuming sugar, especially in large amounts, causes spikes in blood sugar levels, leading to increased insulin production. Insulin is a hormone that promotes fat storage. By reducing sugar intake, you can help stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels, making it easier for your body to burn fat.
  3. Decreased Cravings: Sugar can be addictive and lead to cravings for more sugary foods. By cutting it out, you may find that your cravings for unhealthy, high-calorie foods decrease, making it easier to stick to a healthier diet.
  4. Improved Satiety: Foods high in sugar are often low in fiber and protein, which are essential for feeling full and satisfied. By replacing sugary foods with more nutrient-dense options like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, you can increase your satiety and reduce overall calorie consumption.
  5. Better Nutrient Intake: When you cut out sugary foods, you often make room for more nutritious foods. This can improve your overall diet quality, providing your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to function optimally, which can support weight loss efforts.
  6. Reduced Fat Storage: High sugar intake, particularly from fructose, can lead to increased fat production in the liver, contributing to weight gain and obesity. Cutting out sugar helps to reduce this effect.
  7. Enhanced Metabolism: Reducing sugar can improve metabolic health, including better insulin sensitivity and lower risk of metabolic syndrome, which can facilitate weight loss.

By cutting out sugar and replacing it with healthier options, you can create a more balanced and sustainable diet that supports weight loss and overall well-being.
