A WOMAN who lost 6 stone using Mounjaro has shared the heartbreaking reality of losing lots of weight fast.
Lucy Davies, from Wales, took to social media as she revealed the negative side of the weight loss jabs.
In the clip, Lucy, a mum-of-one, revealed she had gone to Legoland for her son, Ralph’s, birthday.
She said: “I wore high-waisted denim shorts, a vest top, and a shirt.
“It was so hot I had to take the shirt off. So I just had the shorts and the vest top on and I’d never felt so disgusting in all my life.”
Lucy revealed that she has gone from 16 stone 11lbs to 10 stone 6lbs, and now wears a size 12.
But despite her incredible weight loss success, she was left hating her body more than before.
She said she had a ‘gunt’ a Welsh term for a ‘baby belly pouch’ she explained.
“It’s a lot of excess skin around my stomach as well because my stomach was massive,” she continued.
“But what was I thinking wearing high-waisted shorts? I don’t know— never again.
“Because I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in all my life.
“I felt more comfortable six stone heavier than what I did yesterday, and to be honest, it ruined the day for me.”
While Lucy revealed she had no regrets on using Mounjaro, she revealed she had a long way to go before she felt happy in her skin.
She added that while she did lots of walking, it was time to head to the gym and start weight training to tone up.
“It’s come to a point now where I’m more unhappy with how I look naked than what I was when I was bigger because nothing’s toned,” she heartbreakingly confessed.
SOCIAL MEDIA REACTS
The clip was posted to her TikTok account @insightfullucy and went viral with over 235k views.
While Lucy may not be happy in her body at the moment, many viewers rallied around her to show support.
One person wrote: “Even though we’re left with loose skin, it’s so much better than being 6 plus stone overweight. I’m in the same position so will try and save for surgery. If not, I’m proud of achieving my weight loss.”
Another commented: “You’ve lost six stone, don’t be afraid to be proud of what is left. It’s just evidence of the fight you’re winning.”
