LUKE LITTLER vowed to hit a nine-darter at the World Grand Prix as he ruthlessly dethroned defending champion Mike De Decker.
The reigning world conqueror, 18, eliminated the Belgian thrower 3-0 from the second round as he remained on course for another PDC televised major.

Littler – who has won all SEVEN clashes with De Decker – is determined to leave his mark on this unique double-start event, which would mean a perfect leg ending on the Bull.
The world No.2 – who averaged more than 91 compared to De Decker’s rubbish 74.22 – said: “I like breaking records, I like setting records.
“But I’d like to get hopefully a nine-darter somewhere at this tournament.
“Whether it is this year or next year, I’m sure I will get one.”
Showman Littler sealed the match on a Big Fish 170, hitting the Bull with his final throw.
He went on to admit that he “expected more” from reigning World Grand Prix champion De Decker.
The Nuke explained: “Obviously I want everyone, whoever I play, to play their best darts against me.
“Ever since I came on tour I’ve always had that target on my back.

“I don’t want to say nobody’s, but everyone’s going to perform against me. They always want to put in a ton plus averages because they need to.
“But Mike just didn’t play anywhere near his best.
“It was a bit boring, I expected something from the reigning champion.
“He just couldn’t get those doubles to get him going on the scoring at most times and I just had to do a job.”
World No.33 Dirk van Duijvenbode dropped only two out of 11 legs as he smashed Northern Ireland’s Daryl Gurney 3-0 in the previous match.
The tall Dutchman will now face Wales sixth seed Jonny Clayton, who disposed of unseeded Englishman Luke Woodhouse 3-1 in a poor-scoring affair.
Littler now plays Gerwyn Price, who beat Josh Rock 3-0 in the final match of the evening.
