A WOMAN who never thought she’d have the chance of becoming a mum ended up with TWINS – after a one night stand at a wedding.
Holly Firth, 29, even took the morning after pill following the hook up in July 2024 – however, she then found out she had fallen pregnant a fortnight later.

Her initial scan showed she was pregnant with one baby, but a further scan a few weeks later revealed she was actually carrying twins.
She welcomed Charlotte and Rose Firth, into the world on February 27, earlier this year.
The bank worker of Ayr recently took to TikTok where she revealed a bit more about the fateful night – or, the lack of memories she had.
While the two twin sisters are adorable, Holly has no idea whether they look like their biological father she met last summer.
Sharing a wholesome video of the trio, the Scottish mum joked: ”When people who don’t know my situation ask if the girls look like their ‘dad’ but I only met him once after one too many Proseccos and can’t remember anything about him.
”The look on their faces when I say, ‘I don’t know’,” she chuckled in the video.
The singleton, who posts under the username @hollylouise_twinmum, said this gets her ”every time”.
The bank worker now uses her platform to give fellow single mums the courage to confidently go forth into motherhood.
She said: “Life throws unexpected curveballs and I just want other mums-to-be to know that they can do it alone.
“I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant, it was obviously a shock because I didn’t know the guy.
“But I wouldn’t have it any other way – regardless of if it was from a one night stand or from a relationship – I’ve got the girls and I wouldn’t have them if it didn’t happen.
“I remember seeing them for the first time and feeling such an amount of love that I’d never felt before in my entire life.
“I can’t imagine my life without them now. We’re going to be the three musketeers for the rest of our lives.”

Since giving birth to the twins, Holly has discovered that because she had already ovulated before taking the morning after pill, it often becomes ineffective.
She added: “I’ve taken the morning after pill for other reasons in the past and it’s never failed me before, so I thought it would be absolutely fine.
“My period was actually due the day after the wedding so I had definitely already ovulated and I think that’s why it didn’t work.
“When I found out I was pregnant I burst into tears. It was just utter shock. But it was obviously meant to be.”
Holly is raising the identical twins as a single mum, and says that while the twins’ father has chosen to have no involvement, the ‘door will always be open’ if he wants to reach out in the future.

Posted just one day ago, Holly’s video and story have taken the internet by storm, racking up more than 80,000 views.
Dozens flooded to comments, where one said: ”Hit the jackpot because he blessed you with 2 beautiful girls ….. jokes on him, smashing it mamma.”
Another agreed, adding: ”They are both just so cute and look so much like you.”
”Definitely think your girls take after you,” a third chimed in.
”They’re mummy’s double,” a viewer thought.
