A MUM has revealed how she is on baby number seven at the age of 24, and hit back at people who say her “childhood was stolen.”
Jamie revealed how she first fell pregnant with twins at the age of 15 and always knew she wanted a big family.
In a clip on her @jaimielvssteven account, she shared: “Only three days until I have my baby.
“Baby number seven at 24.”
Jamie, who was one of 10 siblings in her family, added: “I love my children and I grew up in such a big family I knew this is what I wanted.”
While her first relationship ended, she is now happily married to husband Steven, who is the father of her other four kids – and the baby she is expecting.
Jamie hit back at people who assume she has numerous “baby daddies”, saying: “I was 15 when I got pregnant with my twins and we didn’t work out.
“I met my husband then and we had our 5 beautiful children together.
“I’m not asking anyone to give me any hand outs.
“My beautiful children are well cared for, my house is always clean and my kids.”
While some people say having kids so young “stole” her childhood, Jamie insists that she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She added: “My children saved me from a young age and there is nothing I would ever change.
“I may have some of my childhood but my mother and father helped me every step of the way and I even finished school, had a job and experienced it.”
Jamie also defended having a baby family in this day and age.
She added: “In this generation you don’t really hear of anyone having big families and it’s a shame.
“I brought seven beautiful children into this world, that just goes to show how I love and adore them.
“For a young mother I know when I need help, I’ll reach out for support.”
Thankfully Jamie added that she has a support family who are always there for her.
Many people were quick to take to the comments, with many supporting her choices.
One wrote: “As long as you can afford them and care for them all properly then crack on.”
Another added: “If you want a large family it’s best to have them young as you have more energy to care for them all.”
However, one person wrote: “7 at 24 is crazy.”
