A BRIDE has revealed how she had her dream wedding in Jamaica but then nearly DIED shortly afterwards.
The woman explained that she flew out for her wedding but began experiencing pain in her groin and had a “gritty feeling”.

She went on to have the “most amazing wedding ever”, but the day after, the pain became unbearable.
The woman, who is known as ‘lipsticknlouboutins_’ on TikTok, shared in a video on her account that there are photos of her staring over her husband’s shoulder into “nothingness” due to the pain.
She explained that the next morning, she looked down at her groin, which was “diabolically huge”, as she had a lump stretching from her hip bone to her vaginal area.
The bride described it as “eight tonnes of swelling” and said she ended up taking a collection of painkillers before turning to ChatGPT for a care plan.
She said: “I can say that the pain was worse than any of the three children that I have had. It was agony.”
She explained that she told her partner, Luke, to take her to hospital, but not one in Jamaica, as one of her children has a health condition and cannot stay in Jamaica.
Instead, she managed to get home, before being taken to hospital and undergoing a CT scan, which revealed she had sepsis caused by an abscess that had grown in her groin.
This, she said, was the reason she was in pain while getting married.
She explained that she has since undergone surgery to have the abscess removed, with doctors revealing that she was “roughly two hours from dying”.
The woman said she now needs another operation, as surgeons didn’t close her wound properly in case the sepsis returns.
She explained that, currently, her intestines are being held together by tape, before ending the video by saying: “What a wedding.”
Her video received over 311.9k views within a day of being shared.

To which the woman replied: “It started before the flights, it started the night of the wedding day.
“We got every painkiller we could, measured them out with sleeping tablets.”
Another added: “I’m glad you’re ok. Super dangerous to risk flying home, but then I guess you didn’t want to risk being stuck in Jamaica.
“What a nightmare. I’ve had sepsis myself and it’s no joke.”
The bride replied: “That’s it. I didn’t want to stay there.
“I just felt like we wouldn’t get an answer, and when we got here, they said the type of abscess was so rare none of his department had seen it. So imagine if I didn’t come back.”
