I feared for my life as OJ Simpson stalked me & ex-wife Nicole & spied on us having sex…I’m haunted by final words to me

FROM the very first moment he laid eyes on OJ Simpson’s glamorous blonde wife, Keith Zlomsowitch was instantly besotted.

He turned to his friend and said,  “She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”

That evening, in the winter of 1992, they had dinner together.

It was then that Keith discovered how terrified Nicole Brown had fled to Aspen, the exclusive US ski resort, to get away from her cold blooded and abusive athlete husband.

She had walked out on the notorious former football player the night before, and feared for her life.

But Keith had no idea of the harrowing ordeal that was to unfold.  Less than two years later Nicole and pal Ron Goldman were stabbed to death in a frenzied bloodbath.

Now Keith has finally broken his 32 year silence and reveals in his explosive new memoir Stalked: It Could Have Been Me how the couple were threatened, spied on and terrorised by obsessive OJ.

The troubled star even lurked outside Nicole’s window and watched as they had sex for the first time – having followed them home after they had been out dancing.

In June 1994, Nicole was brutally murdered outside her home along with her friend Ron, and today Keith reveals how he feels he had a narrow escape.

Entrepreneur Keith, 65, recalled his first sinister encounter with OJ: “I believe he tried to get into the residence, he tried every door but thank God he went home that night.

“The similarities with what happened the night Nicole was murdered are eerie.

“Because it was new she didn’t want the kids waking up in the morning with another man so I walked out of that house, still in the dead of night, down a long dark sidewalk, through the gate around to the street where my car was parked.

“If he’d have been outside that night I’d be dead.”

Keith returned later that day, but OJ lay in wait: “OJ burst in the back door, screaming into our faces.

“I stood up to him. I wouldn’t leave the room until Nicole convinced me to because I was in fear for her safety and she was trembling, standing behind me, holding my hand.

“I was in between the two of them. He screamed, ‘This is what it’s come to. I can’t talk to you alone.’

“Finally, she convinced me to leave the room so they could talk alone for a couple of minutes or else he was never going to leave the house, but she asked me to please stay close so I could hear what was going on.

“After that conversation she looked at me and said, ‘Oh my God, Keith, he watched us. No one’s ever stood up to him like that.’

“And I said, ‘What’s he going to do? Kill me?’ She replied: ‘You don’t know what he’s capable of.’

“These things still give me nightmares”

Keith also claims Nicole’s Ferrari sports car was bugged by OJ and he hired several private detectives to follow her – but cops never took her complaints seriously until it was too late.

The star even once stormed into Keith’s Hollywood restaurant for a furious confrontation – OJ slammed his fists down on the table and roared: “She is still my wife.”

Later of course OJ’s extraordinary criminal trial would become a global circus as he was sensationally cleared of the double murder.

But in a 1997 civil case brought by the victims’ families he was found guilty or battery and wrongful death, and ordered to pay $33,500,000 in damages.

Keith has remained silent for more than three decades because he feared the famous athlete, who died in April 2024, would take his revenge.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun he revealed: “I have no doubt OJ killed Nicole. The man was a narcissist who could not face Nicole living her life without him, so his mind was set that if he couldn’t be with her nobody could.

“Nicole made it clear through her actions and words that this was the last straw. And he took her life. He snapped and basically lost control of his faculties.

“He was extremely narcissistic, self-centred, controlling and a sociopath.

“The things that he put Nicole through in the years that they were together, and then the year and a half that they were separated when I knew her, and I witnessed first hand, were horrifying.

“I believe that he probably convinced himself he had nothing to do with those murders as he was walking away from the crime scene.

“I was scared to even consider writing the book until after he died. After his criminal trial I had offers but to be perfectly honest, I didn’t feel safe.

“As time progressed I knew that if I put what I knew down on paper, he would most likely come after me.”

Keith recalled how, during that first dinner with Nicole back in 1992, he innocently asked his stunning date about her husband: “I said ‘Hey, what’s his name?’ Maybe I know him.’

“And she says, ‘You know him.’”

Nicole confided the horrifying extent of the abuse she had suffered at the hands of OJ, who was father to her children Sydney and Justin.

But that did not deter Keith and the pair quickly began an intense romance that continued for three months until eventually, he said: “OJ. made it impossible.”

At the time Keith was a successful restaurateur running Hollywood hotspot Monkey Bar, a favourite haunt of superstars including Jack Nicholson and Glenn Close.

He believes Nicole was brainwashed by OJ, having met him when she was just 18 years old: “She was always under his control from the time she met him, she was young and naive, but he was losing control.

“Nicole was scared. She looked me in the eye and said ‘Keith there are two OJ Simpsons, the public one everybody sees and the one that no-one sees that only I know about. And you do not want to ever be alone with THAT OJ Simpson.

“She warned me. But we split because it was too dangerous to be together.

“He constantly pursued a reconciliation, even though he was sleeping with every chick in town, Nicole was his prized possession.”

Even after they stopped dating, Keith and Nicole remained best friends.

“We did everything together,” he said, adding that they even flew to Mexico to celebrate her divorce from Simpson later in 1992.

But in October 1993, when Nicole had not returned his phone calls one weekend, she confessed she was attempting to reconcile with her ex-husband.

Keith begged her not to give in: “We had lengthy conversations about him. All she really wanted was for her family to be together.

“She was willing to risk it one more time. And let’s not forget that OJ was pretty charming guy when he wants to be, and he duped her, he told her, ‘I’ve changed. I’ve been to therapy. Let’s give this one more shot.’

“Sadly that ended up leaving the kids motherless.”

Despite his stark warnings, Keith was dragged into a dark and troubling incident which would return to haunt him for years.

Shortly after they reunited, OJ attacked his wife. Even though it had been months since Nicole had seen Keith, OJ spiralled into a rage after hearing that they were still in contact.

Terrified, Nicole made a frantic call to the police and on the chilling recording, which was played to the horrified jury during the 1995 murder trial, OJ could be heard angrily shouting about Keith as she screamed for help.

Keith explained: “He was threatening her, screaming my name and he hadn’t seen me in eight months. He still hated me and never got over the fact that I stood up to him.”

That evening OJ also left Keith a menacing answering machine message saying, “From your old pal OJ.”

Keith struggled to reach Nicole for days after that. “It was bad.

“She told me, ‘I have to give this reconciliation one last chance, I am sorry he told me we cannot speak anymore. I love you.’

“I didn’t know that would be the last time I saw her. The next time was at her funeral as a pallbearer on her parents’ request.

“I had to stand holding the casket of a woman I loved, knowing the man who killed her was elbow to elbow with me.”

Keith went to authorities to offer testimony for the prosecution but was not used as a witness.

“I knew he did it the minute I heard about it,” added Keith, who is now retired and living in Florida

“I can’t emphasise enough that she was the most incredible person I’ve ever met. I never got married. I’m 65 years old and I’m still single.”

“I wrote my book to give her a voice and to thank Ron for sacrificing his life trying his best to defend her.

“I feel like this poor guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time and may have suffered something that might’ve been meant for me.

“She dated a couple other guys briefly during that 18-month period when she was single, but they weren’t stupid enough to take her out in public and to stand up to OJ.”
