A STRICTLY finalist has revealed how she “didn’t want to leave” her bedroom after horrific trolling following her shock split.
Tasha Ghouri, 27, also bravely opened up about her money woes, during a candid social media chat with fans.
The beauty competed on the programme last year, impressing the judges and public with her dancing skills.
However, Tasha’s dancing days played a role in the ending of her last romance, as her and her ex-boyfriend Andrew Le Page, who she met on Love Island, split up weeks after the show ended.
What ensued was a bitter break-up, which had further heartbreak as they had bought a house together, that they were renovating.
Now, Tasha has revealed she is moving on with her life and has bought a house that is all hers.
However, showing it off to her fans she candidly admitted the toll that had been placed on her following her split from Andrew, and subsequently losing her home.
In a candid Q&A with her followers on Instagram, she revealed that she had bought the house, and was no longer renting following her break-up.
“It was a process,” Tasha admitted. “I genuinely did not think I’d get it because of what happened previously but they were so supportive and worked so hard, so so thankful!”
The former Islander then revealed how the house she had bought with Andrew, had taken a hit on her bank balance.
“I lost a lot of money on the first house because it was a massive renovation project and honestly it has put me off for a while,” Tasha revealed.
“But I refused to stay stuck!! I kept my head up, focused forward and started saving from scratch again, can’t thank my managers, friends and family enough for reminding me shit happens but it’s how you overcome from it”
The star then bravely opened up about the terrible online abuse she received during her during her break-up with Andrew.
“I was so so anxious to share this, I’ve experienced a lot of horrific trolls in the past year in my messages, online and it massively impacted my mental health to the point I didn’t want to leave my bedroom,” she revealed.
“I’m getting emotional typing this but this feels like a fresh new beginning and it’s the perfect haven to restart.”
BITTER BREAK-UP
The end of Tasha and Andrew’s relationship was far from pretty, involving accusations and shocking statements amid a public breakup.
Andrew claimed that Tasha was using Raya, celebrity dating app, while they were still together.
He also claimed she “couldn’t keep his name out of her mouth” after appearing on “one too many podcast” speaking about him and their relationship.
Shortly after the accusations and plenty of trolling online, the sunk couple release a set of emotional public statements about wanting to leave the past behind them and avoid unnecessary hurt.
Tasha’s read: “No one deserves to be torn down, especially when they’re already trying to heal.
“We’ve both made mistakes, we’ve both learned, and we’ve both grown.
“But the judgement and cruelty we are facing from people online has been hard.
“Please remember that behind every nasty post, every comment, every story, there are real people with real emotions. Always be kind.”
Andrew added: “Tasha and I want to address the noise around our breakup, as there’s been hate going around that neither of us ever wanted.
“Things were said on both sides, but at the end of the day, no relationship is perfect, but ours still had some incredible moments I’ll always be grateful for.
“I truly just want us both to move on and be happy.
“Wishing Tasha nothing but the best, and I’ll always be proud of her.”
NEW LOVE
In happier news, Tasha has now got a new boyfriend.
Earlier this month the model made her first public appearance with new man, Cam Whitnall
The couple was spotted on camera sitting together in the front row of the Strictly Come Dancing audience, following a Charleston from Karen Carney.
It was a sweet moment for the pair, who are still in the early days of dating after only making things official last month.
A source said: “Tasha and Cam are in the early stages of dating.
“They have been seeing each other for around a month now and share so much in common, from a personal and professional standpoint.
“Cam is a great guy and has a lot going for him, Tasha has definitely been thrilled getting to know him and the feeling is mutual.”
Meanwhile, Andrew is now dating actress and singer Hannah Peglar.
