A MAN has hit back at trolls who criticise him for dating a woman who looks strikingly similar to his mother.
Isaiah and Yarelis, both 20, have known each other since they were 11, and have been together for a year and a half.
The pair met in school, and describe themselves as “best friends”.
When Yarelis first met Isaiah’s mum, Zashia, the duo instantly clicked, and realised that their personalities are incredibly similar.
“We are loud and crazy and have a very strong personality”, said Zashia.
In fact, the two women are so similar that they even choose to dress the same.

“Our styles are pretty similar”, said Yarelis, adding that she likes that she and her boyfriend’s mum wear the same size clothes.
Isaiah isn’t at all fazed by the matching outfits, but the same can’t be said for the general public.
The first time the women shared a video of them matching, it went viral, racking up dozens of negative comments.
Isaiah has been accused of having “mummy issues”, with some commenters sharing their disgust that Zashia is her son’s “type”.
However, he has hit back at trolls, claiming that there is nothing wrong with the close relationship he has with his mother.
“When a woman has a good father figure in her life and tries to find a man who’s like her father because he is a good man, that’s no weird”, he said.
Isaiah added that he believes that anyone who tells him he has mummy issues must dislike their own mother.
Zashia revealed that she sees Yarelis as a daughter, whilst Yarelis sees her as an older sister.
Some cruel trolls have accused the family of incest, due to the similarities between Yarelis and Zashia.
However, Zashia’s wife Taylor doesn’t think the pair look alike at all, and is hurt by any talk of “incest”.
Zashia said that she hopes her son and Yarelis stay together forever, adding that she will do her best to support them both.
“I just hope that in the future we continue to do what we are doing and don’t let nothing or no one change us”, Isaiah added.
