BOXER Huseyin Cinkara has been hospitalised with a brain bleed and a broken neck after brutally being knocked out by Jai Opetaia.
The 40-year-old challenged the Aussie for the unified cruiserweight titles Down Under on Saturday.
But his bid to get his hands on the prestigious titles was ended by a hellacious overhand left from Opetaia in the eighth round of their Gold Coast clash.
Cinkara collapsed in heap after eating the shot but got back to his feet after being tended to by medical staff.
But he was immediately transported to the hospital to undergo further tests, which revealed he had a bleed on his brain and a fracture in his neck.
Scans discovered that Cinkara had suffered a contusion and a small bleed on his brain.
They also revealed that the Turkish-German tank had fractured his C1 vertebra, which connects the skull to the spine.
