A TOP British popstar left her fans devastated after she was forced to scrap another festive show just hours before stepping foot on the stage.
The X Factor alum first revealed her current health battle when she cancelled one gig in her Christmas residency over the weekend.
Yet now Leona Lewis, 40, has admitted her condition isn’t getting better and confessed she was “heartbroken” to call off her December 21 concert.
The Bleeding Love songstress told how she was “still not well enough to take to the stage”.
Her new message, uploaded as a text post to his Instagram grid, came after her December 20 date at her A Starry Night Christmas residency was pulled off the schedule.
She told ticket-holders: “To those planning to join me tonight.
“I’m heartbroken to share another difficult update, that I will not be able to perform tonight’s show (dec 21).
“I was really hoping I’d be able to perform, but unfortunately I’m still not well enough to take to the stage.
“I’m continuing to rest and follow medical advice so I can fully recover and protect my voice.
“At this stage, I’m expected to be cleared to perform by Christmas Eve and please know I’m doing everything I can to make that happen.”
The A Moment Like This singer added: “Your kind words and well wishes have meant more to him than I can say.
“I’m endlessly grateful to have the most loving, supportive fans.
“I can’t wait to be back with you all very soon and share these nights together again.
“All my love, Leona.”
In her caption she wrote: “If you had tickets to A Starry Night Dec 21st show – please reach out to info@voltairelv.com to arrange a refund or reschedule your tickets for a later show.”
One fan wrote: “Sending lots of love and wishing you well Love you lots!’
A second put: “You have made so many people happy, you have given so much, now rest and look after you, that is what matters.
‘The love will be there waiting for you when you come back. The biggest of hugs sweetheart xxxx”
SHOWS SCRAPPED
Just a day before, in another statement on Instagram, the star sadly shared that she wouldn’t be able to perform due to deteriorating health.
On an all black background, Leona penned: “To my lovely fans, I’m heartbroken to share that I will not be able to perform tomorrow night’s show (Dec 20).
“I have been battling a sore throat for the past few days and while I tried pushing through tonight’s show, it has only left me feeling worse.
“I will be spending this time recovering and on vocal rest so I can come back stronger and give you all the show you deserve.”
Leona continued to express how difficult it was for her to make the decision to “disappoint” her fans.
“This was not an easy decision and I’m truly so gutted to disappoint any of you who had plans to attend.
“Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding.
“I’m so grateful for you all always showing up for me and love each of you so much.
“I’ll see you back under the stars very soon.
“xx Leona.”
Leona’s residency has been running since November 1 this year.
Featuring hits like Bleeding Love, covers, and Christmas favourite One More Sleep, it takes an audience on a journey through the milestones of her career.
A Starry Night ends on January 3 2026.
