A HUGE pop star has surprised fans after revealing that she is in fact an unlikely fan of Gogglebox UK.
The US singer, who is the lead vocalist in a hugely popular punk band, confessed all about her obsession with the Channel 4 show during a recent podcast appearance.
Hayley Williams of Paramore fame sat down with Parks and Recreation legend Amy Poehler for the latest episode of her podcast, Good Hang – where the two raved about the show.
Each week, millions of viewers tune into Gogglebox to witness British families like the Siddiquis, the Malones and of course, Mary and Giles, pass comment on the biggest telly moments of the last seven days from the comfort of their living room.
And it seems as if Hayley is just one of those many millions who can’t get enough of the hit show, which is now in its thirteenth year.
Speaking on the Golden Globe nominated podast, rock chick Hayley asked host Amy if she has ever watched Gogglebox.

After Amy confirmed she had, Hayley confessed: “Oh My God Amy, this is my favourite show of all time.
“Explain to people what it is for people who don’t know,” Amy quipped.
“So imagine Amy and I are like, we’re watching television together and all these cameras are still here, which honestly sounds terrifying, but like it’s just families and friends watching TV, commenting on what they’re seeing.
“And some of it is like, you know, soap opera type s*** and other times it’s like Boris Johnson.”
Amy said: “Yeah, I often see some clips of like heavy, beautiful scenes where like a young teen is coming out to his parents and then they’ll show all the different reactions and you think like, oh this very blue collar family is going to have a tough time with it and they never do.”
“Oh my God, England is just full of angels,” Hayley chimed.
Amy replied: “Well, according to Gogglebox.”
Fans flocked to the comments to gush over the surprise revelation, as one user wrote: “The concept of Hayley Williams knowing Mary and Giles.”
“It’s an amazing show. Come Dine With Me is awesome too,” added another.
A third penned: “This is far fetched but wouldn’t be amazing if she appeared in Celebrity Gogglebox ?!”
“You’re correct we are ALL angels over here (laughing face emoji),” added a fourth.
Hayley is best known as the lead singer for the rock band Paramore, alongside current bandmates Zac Farro and Taylor York.
She was signed to a music deal when she was 14 years old and released her first album with Paramore when she was 16 years old.
Hayley has also released two solo albums, Petals for Armor and Flowers for Vases, which she collaborated with her Paramore band mates to create.
The female-fronted band was first created in 2004 and went on to become one of the top rock bands of the 2000s.
The group released its debut album All We Know Is Falling in 2000 reaching number four on the UK Rock Chart in 2009 and number thirty on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart in 2006.
The band went on to win their first Grammy in 2015 when their single Ain’t It Fun won Best Rock Song.
Hayley Williams is no stranger to the big stage and recently travelled alongside star Taylor Swift on the record-breaking The Eras Tour, travelling across Europe and the US together.
As the main support act for the tour, Hayley and her band’s collaboration was an interesting move given the differences in their music styles and fan bases.
But the pair’s tight-knit friendship saw the duo combine Paramore’s alternative sound contrast with Taylor’s pop and country roots making a splash with audiences around the world.
