A HUGE explosion has torn through a home in Bradford leaving at least one person injured and rubble scattered across the street.
Chilling footage showed the aftermath of the terrifying blast, as firefighters, police and ambulances rushed to help clear the debris and find any wounded residents.
The explosion is believed to have been caused by a gas leak, UKNIP reports.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene of the explosion on Southfield Lane on Saturday night following reports of a very loud bang.
The road was completely blocked off after the massive blast.
A number of casualties were reported, according to the Daily Mail.
Witnesses reported seeing scores of fire engines and police cars speed towards the scene.
One local said: “All of Southfield Lane is full of fire and ambulances now, it’s really bad.”
Another reported seeing about 25 fire engines on the road.
People in hazmat suits were also seen working on the scene.
Specialist crews are currently probing the scene of the explosion.
Authorities have not yet issued a formal cause, but the blast is being treated as a gas explosion.
The Sun reached out to West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service for comment.
It comes after jawdropping footage showed the moment a terraced home exploded – sending “earthquake-like” shockwaves down a residential street.
Emergency services were called to the suspected gas explosion at a property on Eden Street in Alvaston, Derby, in June.
Dramatic footage captured on nearby CCTV showed debris and dust flying into the air as the blast tore through the house.
In December, shocking footage showed the moment a terraced house was blown to bits in a huge explosion with 60 firefighters battling the blaze.
The blast blew off the roof and sent glass and bricks flying across Ley Street in Ilford, east London, as a bus and cars were driving down.
In footage posted online, one pedestrian was seen running to avoid the spray of debris from shattered windows.
The entire first floor and loft conversion of the property were engulfed in flames at its height.
In total, eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters responded to the fire.
Pictures from the scene showed a bus stranded on the street while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Two people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
