LEIGH Francis, better known as “Keith Lemon”, has sparked fears among his fans that he won’t be making a TV return.
The Celebrity Juice icon, 52, has become a household name across the nation for his unique sense of humour and various television shows.

But it appears Leigh has been feeling fed up of the backlash lately, as well as having his true identity masked under the persona of Keith.
“I don’t know when I’ll be on TV again,” said Leigh in a recent Instagram live.
“I turned something down this morning. I haven’t pitched any ideas for TV shows in ages.
“If I do and someone likes it then I’ll be back but if I don’t, I won’t.”
Leigh then went on to share how much it “p***** him off” to be referred to as Keith on a daily basis.
“It’s not my name, I keep saying it… my name is Leigh. You might as well call me Tony.”
As for whether any more Through The Keyhole or comedy sketches are in Leigh’s future, the star has two different answers.
Through The Keyhole was strictly an “it will never happen”.
But as for comedy sketches, it sounds like Leigh would like to produce more but is sick of hearing the backlash people feel when his sketches provoke offense.
“It’s gone mad, you can’t make anything without it upsetting people. If you think you’re gonna be offended you shouldn’t watch but I can’t be bothered to get into this deep conversation.”
Following the axing of Bo’ Selecta! – a comedy sketch on Channel 4 – Leigh decided to continue the character of Keith Lemon who featured in the programme and create his own spin-off shows.
His first was a whole new show called Keith Lemon’s Very Brilliant World Tour in 2008, which made the eccentric Keith people know and love-hate today into an instant hit.
