FROM Claudia Winkleman’s Traitors wardrobe to The Night Manager’s sumptuous style, TV has upped the fashion stakes.
Abby McHale reveals how to get the looks on the high street.
Boss it like the Industry crew
GLOSSY finance drama Industry has always boasted sharp tailoring, and the new season is no exception.
Proving corporate dressing doesn’t have to be dull, the smash hit with characters such as Harper Stern, played by 29-year-old Myha’la, is awash with suits, trench coats and blouses tucked into high-waisted trousers – all executed with maximum glamour.
Classic tailoring can be worn on many occasions, so if you’re after something smart, but don’t have a banker’s budget, head to the high street.
Have a highland fling with The Traitors
SERIES four of the BBC hit and host Claudia Winkleman’s outfits are more lust-worthy than ever.
Her stylist Sinead McKeefry describes the host’s threads this year as a mix of Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians, Princess Anne and Oliver Twist.
We love the theatrics of her outfits and, with the rugged Scottish scenery providing the perfect backdrop, the 53-year-old presenter is working “country core” to the max.
Think sweater vests, checks and loafers – pieces that will give your everyday wardrobe a stylish, yet timeless, look.
Take a luxe hol with The Night Manager
BACK for its second series with the drop-dead gorgeous Camila Morrone as new female lead Roxana, The Night Manager is a must-watch for fashionistas.
There are dreamy locations in Barcelona and Colombia, and 28-year-old Camila’s wardrobe is giving luxe holiday vibes – all silky shirts, fedoras and palm-printed dresses. It is making us want to escape our rainy, windswept shores pronto.
The cast of the BBC One spy drama is dripping in designer togs, but the high street has some great – and very affordable – lookalike options.
Step back in time like Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials
YOU might not expect to find fashion inspiration in an Agatha Christie murder mystery, but Netflix’s take on the crime queen’s classic is full of winning looks.
It is set in 1925 and the style – embodied by main character “Bundle” Brent, played by 28-year-old Mia McKenna-Bruce – is classic, feminine and quintessentially British.
A mix of check wool coats and pea hats, with Mary Jane heels, striped shirt dresses and silk gowns thrown in.
These are all looks you’ll find everywhere on today’s high street.
