And after Myleene Klass, 47, showed off her bikini from Freeman’s this week on a yacht, 19 years after her infamous shower scene on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, it’s proof that this colour really does stand the test of time.

Not only is it a classic neutral, block colour shade that you can wear with anything thrown over the top, from cover-ups to sarongs.

This year she’s working with Freemans on her swimwear range under the sister brand LASCANA.
This particular bikini has a ruched front and briefs making them super flattering.

Supermodel Rosie has been sunning herself in Turkey in her white bikini.
The 38-year-old showed off her beach body by the pool in this classic two piece.
Keeping it simple with crepe and knot detailing to give it an added touch.
Finishing off her look with some Prada sunglasses and a gold necklace – very chic.

Kylie, 27, has teamed her fashion brand Khy up with Frankie’s Bikinis to create a whole swimwear line this summer.
And of course that featured a white bikini.
Being modelled by Kylie herself in the picture the bikini has a subtle small polka dot pattern as well as lace trim detailing.

How to keep white swimwear looking white…

Whilst white bikinis look lovely on, they do take a bit of upkeep to make sure they stay looking white.
Especially when mixed with chlorine and sun cream that can leave them looking yellow.
Make sure you rinse your swimwear with cold water after each wear, this helps remove any substances such as salt and chlorine that can leave your swimwear turning yellow.
When washing, make sure you only wash with other white items and avoid using fabric softener as this can actually attract more dirt.
Use a mild detergent and add to a delicate cycle.
If you find your swimwear has already started to look yellow around the outside then there a few options to help try to remove them…
- Squeeze lemon juice on the area before rinsing and leaving to dry in the sun
- Soak the swimwear in equal parts white vinegar and water for an hour before rinsing thoroughly
- Coat in a mixture of baking powder and water for a few hours before rinsing thoroughly
