Just £52,500 separates The Nuke from his rival Luke Humphries in top spot.

A whopping £120,000 cheque is given to the winner of the event, meaning Littler can leapfrog Cool Hand if results go his way in Dortmund, Germany.
The 18-year-old has made no secret of his aspirations to become world No1, saying: “Until I get that world number one spot, I will never call myself the best in the world.
“I don’t want to think about it too much, but I could be world number one before the World Championship.”
It would be quite the achievement considering Littler did not even hold a PDC Tour card two years ago.
SunSport break down what he needs to happen.
How can Luke Littler become world No1 at the European Championship?
It is simple; Littler becomes undoubtedly the world’s best if he wins the title in Dortmund.
He is set to meet Humphries in the quarter-final stage on Sunday afternoon.
Here are the permutations:
- Littler becomes world No1 if he makes the semi-finals and Humphries is beaten in the first round.
- Littler will go top providing he reaches the final and Humphries loses in round two.
- If Humphries loses to Littler in the quarter-finals, then The Nuke becomes No1 if he makes the final.
- Should Littler lose in the quarter-finals or earlier, Humphries retains top spot.
- Littler is the new world No1 if he wins the European Championship title.
- But if Humphries wins the title, he keeps his place as the best.
Littler is set to become the youngest world No1 in darts history.
That record is currently held by Michael van Gerwen, who reached the summit at the age of 24.
