NEW Dagenham & Redbridge owner KSI marked the start of a new era for the club as he attended his first Daggers game alongside Andy Carroll.
The YouTube sensation watched from the stands as his new club took on top of the table Dorking Wanderers in the National League South.
KSI was sat alongside former England and Liverpool striker Carroll just days after he was announced as a major shareholder for the club.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge joined the sixth-tier outfit as a co-owner and a strategic partner earlier this week, following nearly a year of secret talks.
Carroll, 37, signed for the Daggers last year, but has not played since December after undergoing surgery on a fracture and ligaments.
The injury-hit striker got sent off on his debut in the FA Cup but boasts six goals and two assists in his 12 league appearances.
And the nine-time England international brought his kids along with him to Victoria Road for KSI‘s first game, with the little ones clearly big fans of gamer-turned-business mogul.
Carroll’s kids were clamouring for a selfie and an autograph from the KSI pre-kick off, and club officials even moved the social media sensation’s designated seat in the stands to allow him to sit next to Carroll and his family.
Fans online couldn’t believe the unusual pairing in the stands, with one writing: “How is this real life?”
KSI – real name Olajide Olatunji – was mobbed by fans and serenaded on his arrival the the stadium on Saturday afternoon.

And he did a lap of the pitch signing shirts, programmes and scarves for the fans, who are excited about what is to come.
KSI has his eyes on taking Dagenham & Redbridge to the Premier League as he looks to replicate the model that has been set out by Wrexham’s Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Speaking earlier this week, following the announcement of his investment, KSI said: “It’s surreal, bro, out of this world. The idea of it excites me so much.
“Years ago, I saw the excitement, the happiness, the joy. I want to bring that back and then surpass it.
“I want the place to be pumping, I want it to be rocking, I want it to be an event whenever you come here.
“Playing a video game and owning a football club is very different, I know that, but with Race to Division One (his FIFA YouTube series), it was a journey. It was hard, but in the end, I did it.
“With this club, I want to do the unthinkable. I want to take Dagenham and Redbridge to the Premier League.
“It’s obviously going to take time, but I’d say the realistic goal is getting out of this league and entering the National League.
“We need to improve the team, make some additions that really take it to another level, and I want to build the community.”
