This is how I did my investigation into homeless delivery drivers and why it was one of the most difficult stories I’ve ever worked on.
It’s really made me think twice about using platforms such as Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
This is quite an emotive story because a lot of us, especially young people, use these platforms quite a lot, and you don’t really expect the person dropping off your food is struggling to get food for themselves when they’re going back to their tents.
