Rosenior took the French side to seventh in his debut season, securing their highest-ever top-flight finish and a spot in Europe for the first time.

The 41-year-old now has his most high-profile job yet as he looks to be the man to bring the big trophies back to the Bridge.

His first game in the Chelsea dugout comes at London rivals Charlton for an FA Cup third round tie.

Ahead of the game, Rosenior told the press and fans how to pronounce his name correctly.

How do you pronounce Liam Rosenior’s name?

On the face of it, many would say Ro-seen-or when attempting to pronounce the Chelsea boss’ name.

But Rosenior confirmed before his first game in charge of the Blues that it is, in fact, the incorrect pronunciation.

When asked what the correct delivery of his surname is, he said: “My dad says Ro-zen-ee-or, which is the way to pronounce it, but as long as it’s nice, you say something nice about me, I don’t mind.”

Rosenior’s father, Leroy, also confirmed to talkSPORT that the right pronunciation is Ro-zen-ee-or, with the letter ‘s’ in the family name said as a ‘z’.
