BUYING a home can seem like a far off goal at times, but AliExpress could have an affordable solution.
The online retailer is selling a tiny home that includes a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, from just £5,498.
The small but stylish home is available in either 20ft or 40ft sizes and can be customised to suit your individual needs.
This includes choosing if you want either one, two, three to four bedrooms.
Currently the home is 52 per cent off, with it originally costing £11,454, and there are also no shipping fees.
Forget having to apply for a mortgage and battle a dreading house chain, the home could be yours with a click of a button.
The listing reads: “The luxury villa container house is prefab and portable, easy to assemble and transport for flexible use.
“It is durable and weatherproof and built to last in various outdoor environments. It is a modern tiny home with a stylish and elegant look, offering the option of tailored designs to meet individual preferences and needs.”
The prefab home is said to be easy and quick to assemble and disassemble, if you need to relocate it to a new location.
Pictures show how you can opt for a one-storey or two-storey option, depending on your needs.
Given the national average house price in the UK was reported at £264,500 in 2024, it could be an affordable alternative.
Of course, you could use the home to earn some extra cash, if you rent it out, or it could be an extra bedroom for friends and family.
Alternatively it could be used as an office or gym in your garden.
Tiny homes in the UK have boomed in popularity in recent years and typically range from 100 to 400 square feet in size.
Prices vary, but a basic tiny home can cost between £5,000 and £80,000, depending on size, materials, and whether it’s custom-built.
If a tiny home is on wheels, it may be classified as a caravan under UK law, meaning it might not require traditional planning permission.
