Horse racing tips: ‘This is right up his street’ – Templegate’s 4-1 nap loves this sort of test

TEMPLEGATE takes on Wednesday’s racing confident of winners.

Back a horse by clicking their odds below.

ROSENPUR (4.15 Catterick, nap)

Has a good record on these quirky tracks and was in winning form at Chester two starts ago over this trip on fast ground. Like the Roodee, they are on the turn for much of the race at Catterick so it should be right up his street. Trainer Jennie Candlish has been in decent form and can add to her winning tally.

BOLLIN NEIL (3.45 Catterick, nb)

Went mighty close over two miles here last time out. He is back for Tim Easterby off a basement handicap mark and won’t mind this slight drop in distance. He has won here five times on the Flat and over jumps so clearly loves the place and can go close again.

BASHFUL BOY (4.00 Musselburgh, treble)

Takes a big drop in class after finishing a distant fourth at Goodwood last time and has a capable 5lb claim on board for good measure. He is down the weights and should run well.

GRIZEDALE (6.07 Kempton, Lucky 15)

Battled right to the line when winning here three weeks ago and Oisin Murphy stays on board.
