AERIAL SILK (5.10 Kempton, nap)
David Menuisier’s youngster has shown promise on both starts so far and was beaten just a neck at Haydock last time. It was good to see him rallying after being hampered late on and this looks an excellent chance to get off the mark. He has more experience than most of his rivals and can go one better under David Egan.
EXPLOSION (3.33 Newmarket, nb)
He has won his past two races, including by seven lengths on handicap debut at Chelmsford last time. He sees out this trip strongly and has the ideal jockey in SDS to go from the front.
CONSCRIPT (5.40 Kempton, treble)
He was a close-up third on debut at Haydock on debut before stepping up to get off the mark at Ffos Las latest. He steps up to 7f for the first time which can bring further improvement.
QUIESCENT (5.18 Newmarket, Lucky 15)
Is another looking for a hat-trick after winning at Chepstow and over this course and distance last time out. She’s up a fair 5lb for that success and James Doyle gets back on board which is a plus.
