TEMPLEGATE tackles Wednesday’s action certain of landing a touch or two.
There is a packed card at Newbury – where we could see a future Cheltenham winner in the 1.05pm.

KRISSY (3.05 Lingfield, nap)
Scottish trainer Jim Goldie’s five-year-old has been brilliant since switching to the sand with two wins and a pair of close seconds including at Southwell last time. She is right at home over this trip and one of the runner-up efforts came here in December. The handicapper hasn’t gone crazy and she’s 3lb higher than when scoring at Wolverhampton two starts ago.
MUSKOKA (2.05 Newbury, nb)
Was just denied at Wincanton on Boxing Day in a stronger race than this. Trainer Emma Lavelle continues in fine form and this son of Milan stays strongly and likes some cut.
GILES GLORY (1.25 Lingfield, treble)
Wasn’t stopping when winning nicely over seven furlongs here last week. He moves up to a mile here carrying a 6lb penalty that won’t put the brakes on today.
HOMME DE FER (6.00 Kempton, Lucky 15)
Most read in Horse Racing
Has won two of his past three starts and battled right to the line when scoring at Lingfield latest. A 3lb rise for that looks fair and he has another win in him.
