Took on the boys when finishing an excellent second at Wetherby last time out in November. The winner has franked that form in better company since and Mark Walford’s eight-year-old finished strongly and jumped well off the same mark as today. She’s pitched into a mares’ race here and should have more than enough quality to strike over a trip that suits.
ATLANTIC POWER (1.00 Chepstow, nb)
Started the season with a Fontwell win and went close there again last time. He’ll be right there off his last winning mark.
LE BEAU MADRIK (1.20 Newcastle, treble)
Was useful in bumpers and scored nicely on hurdles debut here last time. He’s more than capable of following up.
HOW’S THE GUVNOR (4.28 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15)
Landed a deserved win at Southwell and can strike again under a penalty.
