JOHNJAY (2.12 Brighton, nap)
Roger Teal’s five-year-old likes his days out to the Sussex seaside and scored on his last visit in May. That was over this trip and he’s just 2lb higher in the weights now despite running a cracker in much hotter company at Chepstow last time out. He’s fine on any ground and a repeat of this last effort would take him very close.
KRANCJAR (4.12 Brighton, nb)
He comes here looking to land a hat-trick for trainer George Boughey (left) who keeps capable claimer Jack Callan in the saddle. He has been on board for both wins and a 5lb penalty shouldn’t stop them going very close again.
RAVISHING BEAUTY (4.50 Thirsk, treble)
This Camelot filly has hardly put a foot wrong this season with wins at Nottingham and Pontefrace and another solid placed effort at Carlisle last time.
RICARDO PHILLIPS (3.42 Brighton, Lucky 15)
Landed a deserved win at Leicester last time out and a 1lb rise in the weights looks very lenient. He’ll be right there again for trainer Henry Candy.
