Can make the most of a drop in class. Paul Nicholls’ useful chaser ran well for a long way on his seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham. He probably paid the price for getting involved in a head-to-head with another rival a long way from home, just tiring over the second last. That was his first run since having a breathing operation and he should be sharper this time around.
DIGUB (8.30 Chelmsford, nb)
Should prove too strong for her rivals. The well-bred filly opened her account at the third attempt at Southwell last time, staying on well to win going away. She is bred to appreciate this step up in trip and should prove better than her current mark.
HOLLYGROVE CHA CHA (1.00 Exeter, treble)
Ran a cracker behind to very smart rivals at Carlisle last month. She remains open to further progress this winter and will be hard to beat back against her own sex.
POTTERSVILLE (1.40 Ffos Las, Lucky 15)
She won in a canter at Exeter last time and could be a smart mare in the making.
