TEMPLEGATE’S Sunday picks are below.
Back a horse by clicking their odds.
BOB BOB RICARD (2.20 Plumpton, nap)
He has plenty of form to his name at a much better level than this and should be able to fend these off despite the big weight. He’ll relish the good ground as well as the drop in trip and this track should suit better than when running at Cheltenham a couple of times this season.
ABSURDE (4.05 Plumpton, nb)
Can keep the pressure up in the title race for magic Willie Mullins. He has the gears to handle this track and should have too much class for this middling field. A repeat of his third in the County Hurdle should be enough to take this and the booking of Harry Cobden looks a smart move.
ADAAY IN DEVON (3.41 Bath, treble)
Won this race last season and has bags of pace. This track suits her style perfectly and she has a great draw which is key at this unique track. Quick ground is fine for her and she can burn these early from the stalls.
LIL GUFF (4.16 Bath, Lucky 15)
She has a terrific record here at this level and will love the fast ground. Oisin Murphy knows her well and has a good record when teaming up with this canny stable.
